The deep-drawability of a sheet metal blank is strongly influenced by the tribological conditions prevailing in deep-drawing process. Therefore, new methods to influence tribology represent an important research topic. In this work, application process-integrated lubrication process investigated. Most promising geometries channels and outlet openings are first identified means numerical simulation at example demonstrator Cylindrical test specimens with specified channel additively manufactured installed strip drawing stand. Additive manufacturing enables possibility complex which cannot be conventional methods. A hydraulic metering device for conveying lubricant connected cylindrical specimens. Thus, hydraulically lubricated tests performed. evaluated according force curves fluid mechanical buildup pressure cushion. performance thus analyzed evaluated. By coupled forming SPH simulation, could optimally designed. From practical tests, it achieved that decreases up 27% cushion build up. research, area highest contact normal stresses most optimal parameter regarding friction reduction.
